Gungasa, Poreyahat: Catechetical Seminar for Pastoral Sisters was held on 11 – 15, April 2023 at CDTC, Poreyahat. Many Pastoral Sisters were attended the seminar from various parishes in the Diocese. The Theme of the seminar was “To Experience Christ and to actualize the Pastoral Ministry”. Seminar was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp. Rev Fr Albinus Murmu, the Vicar General of the Diocese. The Vicar General addressed them. He articulated that the importance of Pastoral Sisters in the parish and encouraged them to be effective in their mission areas. He continued in saying, The mission of preaching the Gospel to all creation, entrusted directly by the Lord to his disciples, has continued in the Church throughout history. The social and spiritual crisis, so evident in today’s world, is becoming a pastoral challenge in the Church’s evangelizing mission. They were animated by the Director of the Institution.
